For most visitors, the easiest route to Tinos is via Mykonos Airport or Athens International Airport. From Mykonos, take a bus or taxi to the New Port and continue by ferry to Tinos. From Athens, use the KTEL bus to Rafina Port, then take a ferry to Tinos. Ferry duration and frequency vary by operator, season and weather.

To travel from Athens city centre to Piraeus, use Metro Line 1 (the green line), which serves both Omonia and Monastiraki.

Once at the port of Tinos, either the large one or the one for Seajet only, follow the main street having the sea on your left. After approximately 500m you will find a T cross, take the first road uphill on the left. You should see the windmill from the street.
